Types of Speed Velocity and acceleration
Class 9th
what are the types of speed ?
Answer
Types of speed
1) Average speed: average speed is the total distance divided by total time taken.
Mathematically :
<V>= Total distance/Total time
<V>=∆S/∆t
2) Instantaneous Speed: instantaneous speed is the speed of a body far short time( very short time that limit aprroaching to zero)
Mathematically:
V= limit ∆s/∆t
∆t➡️0
3) Uniform speed : if a body covers equal distance in equal intervals of time then it is said to be in uniform Speed.

What are the types of Velocity?
Answer
Types of velocity.
1) Average velocity: <V>
The total displacement covered by a body is divided by total time taken is called average velocity.
Mathematically:
<V>=total displacement/total time taken
2) Instantaneous velocity:
The velocity of a body in a very short intervals of time is called instantaneous velocity.
or
Instantaneous velocity means how fast something is moving at one particular moment.
Mathematically:
V = Lim ∆s/∆t
∆t➡️0
3) uniform Velocity: A body is said to have uniform Velocity if it covers equal displacement in equal intervals of time .

What are the types of acceleration?
Answer
Types of acceleration
The following are the types of acceleration.
1) Average acceleration: average acceleration is the total change in velocity of a body divided by total time taken is called average acceleration.
Mathematically:
<a> = ∆V/∆t
2) Instantaneous acceleration: the acceleration of a body at any particular instant of time this called instantenious
acceleration.
Mathematically:
a= limit ∆V/∆t
∆t➡️0
3) Uniform acceleration: A body to said to have uniform acceleration if its average velocity and Instantaneous acceleration becomes equal.
Or
A body has uniform acceleration if it has equal changes and velocity and equal intervals of time.
